Brazilian Lymphatic Massage in Edinburgh
Brazilian lymphatic massage is a modern variation of traditional manual lymphatic drainage, with a stronger focus on sculpting the body, reducing swelling and puffiness and targeting cellulite. In recent years it has become increasingly popular as a non-invasive treatment that nurtures the body, boosts circulation, and helps to break down fat pockets through specialised massage techniques and maderotherapy (wood therapy).
Brazilian Lymphatic massage is especially beneficial for those who experience heaviness from water retention, sluggish circulation, or anyone wishing to feel more sculpted in a natural and holistic way. It is also ideal for those seeking a more toned appearance while gently supporting the body’s own cleansing processes.
Many people choose Brazilian lymphatic massage before a special occasion such as a wedding, holiday, or birthday to feel lighter, more defined, and confident in their body.
At Touch Holistic Therapy (Edinburgh) , we recommend an intensive course of 6 to 15 treatments, ideally twice per week, to achieve the most visible and lasting results. Our Studio is based in Edinburgh city centre & New Town.
Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage (Case 1)

A client came to us wishing to reduce the appearance of cellulite on the back of the legs. We carried out a course of six Brazilian sculpting lymphatic massage treatments with maderotherapy, scheduled twice per week.
To enhance the process, our specialised lymphatic drainage oil was applied during each session, supporting circulation and detoxification. The client also maintained good hydration throughout the course and complemented the treatments with two Pilates sessions per week.
By the end of the programme, the legs appeared smoother, circulation improved, and the client reported feeling lighter and more confident in her body.
Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage (Case 2)

This client’s goal was to feel better overall, reduce swelling, and ease bloating in the body. Over the course of six Brazilian sculpting lymphatic massage treatments, spread across seven weeks, we observed a significant reduction in water retention, particularly in the legs as well as skin tone improvement.
The client reported feeling lighter, more energised, and experienced a noticeable decrease in bloating. These changes not only improved physical comfort but also supported a greater sense of wellbeing.
